Anxiety and self-efficacy in ESP learning: Effects on academic success

چکیده

The aim of this research is to determine the influence students' English for Specific Purposes (ESP) classroom anxiety and self-efficacy on their achievement. exploratory, based a quantitative approach systematic non-experimental observation. results show that ESP negatively correlated with anxiety. achievements are positively related self-efficacy, accordingly they some students aware can, while others cannot. Thus, statistical significance relationship between achievement gives advantage as predictor success. Gender only achievement, female respondents achieving slightly higher grades. There were no significant differences those who resided did not reside in English-speaking countries. It concluded should be educated realistic objective self-assessment. meta-cognitive ability self-assessment developed because process increasing self-regulation learning, value personality reflected pattern.
